Scope and limits
This page says plainly what a Kyklios study is and is not. The same text, in longer form, goes on the cover of every report and in the contract.
What it is
An independent technical study of battery degradation and of the warranty contract you were offered, for use in pre investment decisions: choosing between OEM offers, negotiating a schedule, and informing your own investment committee.
What it is not
It is not a bankability certificate, not a performance guarantee, not an insurance product and not a substitute for the independent engineer that a lender appoints. We do not carry the project risk and we do not represent that we do.
Conditional by construction
Every verdict is conditional on an operating scenario that you declare and sign off. Change the dispatch, the temperature or the cell and the verdict changes. That is a property of the physics, not a caveat we added.
Uncertainty is stated
Results are given as P50 and P90 trajectories. Where the band is wider than the margin against the warranty threshold, we report a risk map and we do not call it a verdict.
Model limits
LFP only in v0. The late non linear knee is not captured; beyond roughly year 10 the band widens. RTE is a constant efficiency chain. No LLI and LAM decomposition. No availability forecast.
Your data
The OEM offer you send us is confidential to a third party. We say how long we keep it, where it lives and how it is treated, in the NDA and the contract, before you send it.
